Travel Album

Hi there...

Am not anywere near changing my sluggish way around blogland. I am very random in dropping my ur blogs too... but my! wonderful creations... unimaginable creativity.... beautiful inspirations. I wonder how people manage two worlds. I end up soo tired at the end of the day- kids, house work, craft orders, math classes in the evening and social commitments(uff). But the pleasure from crafting, yes it is there as i craft a lot. Just no time to blog. In the end all my new creations end up in my FB page and none here, which is just not so good.

Ok here i am with one new Travel album for a client. I loved it soo much that i wanted to keep it for myself ;) Anyway its just the cover page today.

Front View

The base is a self designed handmade sheet, just the way i needed it-rugged and vintage. I just played around the embellies and atlast found the right place for everything. The orange sheet below is a burlap, love the texture. The clock epoxy sticker is a fav of mine. I have been hoarding it for a long time. And its perfect for this months LESSology theme #44-Tick Tock.

The list of items i have recycled here are the buttons(from a old screen cloth) the small jute threads attached to the buttons and the brown jute twine, its called 'chanal' in my local slang and used in packaging. U can find a lot here.

The sticker are free downloads, printed on glossy art sheets. I find this pretty cost effective rather than purchasing branded sticker packs.

A mini, from a dotting daughter!!

Good Morning people....

its a lovely Dec morn, feels like heaven. But most of the time it jus makes me lazy and its really hard to scrap myself off my warm bed. But yeah here i am and my post today is a mini album, 6x6" for a darling dad made for his dad. I had made this on commission a long back ago.

I made the album in a stand up mode so that i can used as a table top memory book too. Here are the pic. Missed few folds in between i guess.

Many items used here are recycled like the doily, buttons, few laces and scrap PPs. I did for a friend and i loved all their family snaps. Ok winding it up for today... Gear up for a new year folks. Hopefully ill see u again soon. bye 

Anniversary Scrapbook - Blooms

Hello everyone...

Finally done with the hols and back on track. Sharing with you all today a scrapbook done in recent times. The inside pages also turned out good but seriously i had no time to click pics since i ran out of time. Okay here are the pics

The shaped pages are all hand cut and loved how it turned out. The flowers are TH tattered florals and the roses are done with daisy die. Everything else in self explanatory i guess.

Pink & Brown Scrapbook cover

Hello all

A quick post today. There was a time in between when i was crafting a lot but dint get enough time to post. So when i was backing up all pics, came up with a few old projects. Here is one of them.

It was a Photo oriented album, here is jus the cover.

Its actually so girly with all the lace and pearls, i loved the colours of pink and brown too.

Neutral colour Baby Album

Hi there everyone

Took out some time to do another post. I made this Baby book sometime back. It was for a baby boy but i was requested not to put in too much blue. And this is what i came up with, i really really loved how the cover turned out. Few pages have basically the same layout as my other baby albums, i have avoided those pages here.

The hanging sign chipboard was distressed with peeled paint DI and the sentiment is heat embossed with sparkling white powder. I just kept adding layers and elements till i was satisfied.

Every mile.... a memory !! A 60th bday wish book !

Hello everyone
Today am going to post the front cover of a wishbook i made a while ago. Here is the pic

The book was vintage theme based and the colours used were black, blue & Brown. I used lots of pun sentiments & quotes on 60th bday. The vintage car here is a printout and has been luxuriously distressed with vintage photo. The '60' badge is made using a felt cloth and is hand cut. I love using felt in projects, gives a nice texture. The insides of the book are decorated rather sparsely to accomodate the wishes of near n dear ones.

Baby Girl Scrapbook

Hello everyone...

Ya its me. Hope atleast a few of you will remember me. I had been totally busy during this summer holidays. Summer classes.... trips.... kids... personal commitments. It was a hectic and exciting period. Now i hope to keep this blog updated regularly and ill surely be visiting all your blogs soon to see wats happening in the blogland.

Ok now to the project am going to share today- Its a baby girl scrapbook, i finished it long back though. Similarly there are a lot of projects to be shared. Here are the pics first

Punches, PPs,  & Stickers

The left side is a pocket which holds the 'Height-Weight' Chart, U can see the distressed green sheet peeking out. The red card base is to hold a pic. The right side is an accordian card with pockets to hold the hair, nails & hand-foot prints. The big yellow flower is handmade using tattered florals die with a button centre

A busy page here. The left page has space to hold pics before and after hair cut. The right page is for the Baby's first solid food. All the lil strawberries are paper pierced from PPs. A fleur di lis Square frame to accomodate the pic.

Is'nt the banner lovely here. I manually hand cut all the individual pieces, distressed and added faux stitches to it. Loved the outcome. Both the pages are for the First birthday.

A page each for the Mom & Dad with the baby. The lil safety pins are stamped & fussy cut from Fiskars Baby quotes stamp set. 

This is an interesting page for the Baby Firsts. But i hav already done it with one of my baby boy scrapbooks, so no explanation

Love the cluttered look here. Pockets to hold pictures of baby for each month. Each pocket holds 4 sheets.

And they lived happily ever after
