Wedding Layout

Hello ppl...

Thank you soo much for ur lovely comments on the graduation theme explosion box. Today i have something new to post..... actually its the arrangement dat is new for me.... random placement. Here are the pics

Framed layout (sorry its not at the right angel)


Picture before framing

The initial request was based on the nuptial knot of the pattu saree & pattu veshti... I guess most Indians are aware of dis. So i used scrap cloths for it.... the red cloth is from a fancy bag and the white from a cloth given in temple. I was rather difficult to place the cloths in the required position correctly.... Lotta patience ther. I hav done neat placements of photos & flowers in my layouts till now..... but this one required somthing diff......... so i jus kept shuffling the stuff around and finally i liked this.

The background paper is a beautiful golden one with stitching & sequins... its a local buy. I hav used Vintage photo, Mustard seed and peeled paint DI for the sentiment Sheet. The red fringed flower is actually a scrap... it was a defect piece... its actually a double fringed flower done the wrong way.... but i decided to save it and here it goes

Jus loved the key embellishment & the bird cage, The bird is heat embossed in white sparkling powder.

    Love the fringed flower...cant understand how you said it was done the wrong way!! Love the background paper too.

      haha... thanks a lot Doc.... its actually a double fringed flower... which turned out like a normal one,

    WOw ! I loved the red and gold combo Sujana ! I guessed the bg must be cloth but the paper with stitching looks wonderful ! I liked your quilled flowers too..

    It's a very beautiful layout, Sujana! Especially love the ethnic touch with the Pattu sari and dhoti and your quilled flowers look gorgeous as usual. Love the background fabric paper you have used :)

    I loved the colours you chose for a wedding theme...golden, red and white. So classic. And fabulous quilling. I loved that fringed flower the way as it is :) Beautiful work again !! :)
