Frozen themed Birthday Invites!!

Hello lovely ladies...

With my lil guy's birthday approaching, i realised that i haven't yet posted my daughter's last year bday invite. It was a Frozen themed birthday party and loads of handmade items we had. Today ill first post the invites i made. 

I made quite a handful of different models. Every card is a shaker card though. I had saved this gorgeous snowflake pp and it was perfect for these invites. The shaker part was the tedious one but still enjoyed every bit.

For the shaker fillings, i used very small beads, blue and silver of course. And the snowflakes are die cut. I won these dies once from Itsy Bitsy. 

This 4th model is the first one i actually made, I wanted to create something like a scene, which dint turn out like i imagined ;)

Valentine day card #2

Hello again friends,

Here is the second card i tried this Valentines'. My favourite one!!1I almost had a different idea for this but ended up with a completely different one(it happens a lot with me ;)) I am not much foresighted i guess. 

 Its been a while since i played distress inks in my cards. Mostly i use DI only in the corners of my scrapbook pages. So loved this card wen i got to do more with DI. It all started with the grass, then tried with the negative of the clouds, and finally for the sentiment. Am just a novice with DI colouring

Do give ur ideas of how u would have done this card. Would you have added anything more to build this card or done anything differently. Do share ut views, i would love to improve with DIs.

Valentines' day Card #1

Hello all,

trying to stay active in blog land. ok today here is my card for dear hubby for Valentines. Made a card for simply the reason of crafting after a long while, no orders, no commission.

Its been long since i made simple open n close cards, i prefer interactive and multi layered cards but this one was fun creating. It was a quick one. The hot air balloons are cameo cut as i dint have a die for it. I added the basket weave design for slight texture. Slight distressing and doodling here and there.

Money Envelope!!

Good to post again today,

my dashboard was filled with soo many lovely drooling creations. Thanks to all the crafters for the inspiration. I jus wish i had that time and patience to craft more.

In my attempt to keep my blog active and live, am posting one of my old project, a simple and elegant money envelope.

Simple Terracotta ear Studs!!

Hi there people, 

Today am sharing few more of my trials with Terracotta jewelry. I made few studs for my daughter, which she can wear for her school, something simple and neat. 

So check out the pics and do give ur opinion. (tried out some photography too ;) )

I kept the colours mostly on the darker side since the school uniform is blue and white. 

I was looking for apt places to click the pics, we are very comfortable with clicking scrapbooks and cards, but jewelry? it was pretty messy at first , then tried it on flowers. The ear pieces looked bright and beautiful on a Gerbera flower. And here it is.
