I loved how the card had turned out. Can u see the white net cloth beneath the roses? Its recycled from my daughters' old dress, it gives such a soft feel to the roses & pollens. Since i first incorporated the pattu saree-veshti knot in a project, it has become a fav for many and ther want me to put it up somewer or other on the card. All the PP on the card are from papermania.

Hi gals....

Its going to be a quick post today, not finding luxury time to blog well now a days, still am dropping by a few blogs now n then, Sorry if i missed any, will be back in flow soon.
Anyways here is a centre step card, it was a sudden idea and the card came out pretty well. Here are the pics

I had this love-birds tag from "we r memory keepers"- love struck PP and everything revolved around this... the colours, theme, etc. To give the tag more depth i added quilled birds on the image and even to the nest i hav added brown quilling strips... and finally distressed with Vintage Photo. The BG PP is from Joyeux Noel bundle i won from Kraft zone- love this vintage blue.

A pretty Special Card

hi gals...

ya its been soo long since i posted here... its also my first post for Feb, jus cant believe days simply run with soo much happening around. Here is a special card close to my heart.

The base design was inspired from a pic on pinterest... like flowers peeping out and it jus got stuck to my mind. The flowers are all made using Tim holtz tattered florals die. This is one of my first successful attempts with them. The yellow sunflower layers are held together with a brown brad and glittered with gold fevicryl 3D glitter with my fingers. And for the pretty pink flower i hav used silver pollens n silver glitter.

Once the flowers were done and placed... the rest all was a breeze to do.

Supplies used

Card stock - White fabriano elle erre

Patterned paper -  American craft- strips(from IB)

die- Tattered florals die

Large brown brad- RAK from karuna

pink button - my mind'd eye (RAK from PPS)

butterfly, alphabet letters - Itsy bitsy
