Pink Wedding Card

Hi there

Today am sharing a pink & gold Wedding card made on request. It is a multi fold card, this fold i came to know thru Ujjwal's pocket insert card. It measures 8*8 inches & wen opened measured 16*16 inches. Here are the pics,

i have decorated the front panel with many elements, first over the card base is this gorgeous embossed gift wrap sheet. Next i have painted the Heart shaped doily pink & placed the boy girl chipboard over it (heat embossed the chipboards in silver). Also the Sentiment "LOVE" is heat embossed in White Sparkling powder. Here is another view of the front panel. Few assorted mulberry flowers from Priya s store & from Ujjwal. 'You & Me' sticker is from DCWV La Cream sheet

When opened

Here is a pic of the inside, its a huge card, so i had to carefully do all panels coordinating well. The gold base here is a local buy card stock and has a nice shimmer to it

Panel 1

Here the sentiment is from a wall sticker which i had hoarded, Love how the heart with the wedding dresses have turned out, For the guy's dress, i have added corrugated sheet. Finished it with some sequins.

Panel 2

This panel here has a pocket to hold some photos, i was requested to add some chocolates, dats y dos candies here, and the related sentiment.

Panel 3

Panel 3 again is a pocket fold which has some tags, i have decorated the pocket with pleated satin ribbon, took a heck of time, but loved the result. All the tags are stamped with quotes. (forgot to take pics)

Panel 4

Kept this panel simple here, jus some doily, sentiment from PP and flowers. And this doily is recycled, know from where? Hotel.... It was placed in the saucer of my lil girl's milk. It was gorgeous with rose pattern and really thick. I ordered one more milk and got another doily, hehe. love it

Guess its already too much of pics & explaining. Thanks a lot for stopping by people. Hope the recipient loves the card as much as i do.

Happy Diwali Folks

Explosion Box-White & Blue

Hello dear friends....

Its been quite a while since i last posted. So today here again to share an explosion box. I tried few different things here, See for urself

The outer view with Rosette Top

with the Lid opened

The layout

I loved the colour combo a lot, and especially love the textured white sheet. Now coming to the lil gift box in the centre, is it something to hold the gift? No...... I was requested to make some kind of popping surprise in the centre. I deliberated on many ideas and finally got this one right. Check it out

Gift Box

When the small box is opened, a bouquet of flowers pop out along with the message "Happy 6 Anniversary". Added some butterflies also. The flower bunch is a local buy, loved it

Surprise

So how do u think the surprise was? Here is a top view of the pop out

Load it Up !!

Hi there everyone

Hope u r all enjoying the Dussera hols well. Last night i came up with this card for the Lulupu challenge, it is my first try @ loads of layering and i loved how it has turned up. Had loads of fun too...

Front View

Excluding the Card base(brown) there are 6 layers here- White base, Pink base, PP, Pink Sentiment label, Netted cloth (the one in which fruits come) & white sentiment label
The embellishments are Ribbon, flowers, leaves & pearls

Close Up of the top
Hope the netted cloth is visible in these close ups. The net cloth gives an excellent dimension IRL and makes the pink label pop up too, but cudnt capture it here properly. Added faux stitching in the label. These labels are all hand cut

Close up of the Blooms

And the flowers.... these are real flowers, sprayed and dried and hoarded for a long time now.

Side View

So how do u think this card is? Do give ur valuable comments & suggestions on my first try @ this style.... C u all soon again.

Recycled Under-Sea School Project

Hello there everyone....

Sharing a project i did for my daughter's gallery walk @ school. Here are the pics,

Its a recycling craft project, the base is a saree box. Attached some fishes with OHP sheet to give it a swimming effect. I have added some stones and shells to the ocean floor and I have spreaded out the sea creatures based on where they belong in the sea - underwater, above, etc. Also i have added some plants in both green and red colour to match the sea plants.
And dat's my sweet daughter explaining the sea creatures, do u see the star badge? She is the star of her class. A proud mommy i am.
