Easel Card Again !

Hi friends

Good Morning. Its gonna be a quick post again. We ll be leaving to chennai for the weekend so giving a go in some challenges.

As u can see, for the rossette centre i have used a bottle cap. And for the Bingo challenge, I have chosen the last column (Acetate, paper clip & Wood)

    Acetate - I have used it as a stopper for the easel, isnt it cool?

I have used brads to hold the acetate, sentiment pp and the base together.

Explosion Box - Vintage Hues

Hi people....

Back again with an explosion box with 'wedding anniversary' theme. Started it in vintage colours, n i guess ther is atleast some justice done here. My first try @ anything vintage, learned a lot in this process (n the first thing was, invest in some craft goods).

Added a rossette to the top, look @ the button, love it. i have distressed all the papers with vintage photo.

I have added a Gift box in the centre with a rose on top. Also added a photo to the lid flap, it can be seen wen the lid is opened (the next photo)

Latte Love

Hi guys....

Back again with a card for BGC, hope u like it

The image is hand drawn and coloured with Faber Castell Bicolour pencils, kept the shading on the cup to a minimum so that the cup adapts the texture on the card. For the aroma, i have pierced it with a needle. Took the sentiment from Jovi's card, and i have added faux stitching around the card.

Do give me ur comments on my colouring, how can i improve it further.

Dress Cards!

Hello dear friends

I dint want to miss the Paper Dress challenge @ Unstampabelles, so here is my card.

I have tried a Joy-fold Card for the first time. Love this fold. I have made this 'dress' from a scallop circle and have added a black polka dot ribbon to the waist of the dress, do check out the layers on the dress.

Dressed up the inside of the card with washi tapes. Loving the washis.... All the papers are from DCVW vintage blend stack, wat an elegant finish it gives.

Gate Fold Card

Hi all....

Am here to share a Wedding anniversary card i made for my sis's in-laws. Since i hav never tried a gate fold card b4, tried dat. Here are the pics

The butterflies are stamped n fussy cut on a glittery Pattern paper. 

My Sister's Hand writing is better than mine, so i left space so she could fill in "happy 30th wedding anniversary"

Added a twist in the card by inserting another fold for the photo. Framed the photo with a gorgeous washi tape. How handy it is for quick projects.

Hello dear bloggers...

A very Happy Independence day to all, missing my good ole school days and the thrill of flag hoisting, chocolates, lil flags n the stories. I envy the lil kids now. Jus hoping that the Gen Next turn out to be patriotic too.
Anyways here is a card i made for the BGC challenges, it was long due to be posted...

Hope i have incorporated all the twists that was meant. For the window i hav added an OHP sheet infront of the hand written sentiment and a quilled spiral as a frame, do tell me how it is? The fruits... it is the first time am doing it, hope i hav done some justice atleast.

Kids' Bday Party Ensemble

Hi there crafters.....

its a pic heavy post today, yesterday we celebrated my daughter's 3rd bday n here is the crafty party ensemble i made for the celebration. The theme this time was 'Hello Kitty'

This ensemble is for Moxie Fab world-birthday party ensemble challenge

I took the basic layout for the invite from a design i saw on the net and altered it according to requirements. The Hello Kitty head is a print out n i fussy cut it.

Quilled tags

Hello dear friends

Here are some tags i made, it was more like trial and practise.

This orange one is self embossed sheet, n i have laid it with golden net n used some pearls.

This pink here is a handmade sheet, nothing fancy here except the quilled flower n lace

I loved this one a lot, the sheet is self embossed, used washi tape for the sentiment, it looks lot better IRL

Jus a bird n a voice bubble

This yellow here i have used stamping, made the BG with Hero Arts Shadow Ink (green fields) n added a quilled flower

Finally the blue one, used distressing tn stamping to make the BG, it was a white CS, distresed with faded jeans, stamped the flower with soft pool (blue), added quilled flower, lace, pearl n bling.

This last one it is for the challenge @ For the love of crafting - Make a tag

A mini book.....

Hello there everyone....

Here is a mini book i made on request for a lil girl. Her granny was in awe of the Cup Cake Card and wanted something like that for the lil kid, so i made a mini memory book, incorporating the things a lil girl wud love.

For the front cover base i used a gold net cloth to give some texture. Added loads of ribbon.... "Our lil Princess: is cut from a PP.

Forgot to take a pic here, the red ribbon opens up to an accordion fold card. 

Here again the ribbon opens to a multi fold card. All the papers are from DCWV girlhood stack, oh i love that stack. All yummy papers. The book rings are from Itsy Bitsy

Here i'd like to mention that i have taken inspiration from soo many mini albums by crafters from around the world. Thanks everyone.

Deepti's CARD CASED

Hi again....

Did a blunder, dint properly notice that we had to CASE a card, i was inspired by Deepti's 3 tier cake box and did a similar one for my lil girls' bday.
Anyway here again with a CASEd version of her CARD.

Here is Deepti's card, she has used water misting technique.

Here is my take on it, i have used water misting on distressed card. The sketch is from CAS(E) this Sketch. 

Am gonna update this description later, running out of time.
