A CAS card....

I made this card last week for my daughter's friend, who had a butterfly themed bday. Happy the way the card has come out. Am loving the CAS cards as its very neat n consumes very less time. Here are the pics....

The butterfly is an origami one... Very simple n easy to make, tied it with a satin ribbon to make the antenna. I have this 'girlhood' paper stack from lulupu... n I use it for most of my projects.... Very versatile. I have added gem stones for sparkle n dimension. I made this card in flat 10 minutes. Hope u liked it. That's it from me. Thanks for visiting my blog.

An explosion Box....

Hi all....

Hope u are all doing good. Thanks for visiting by blog n giving ur wonderful comments.
I have tried a couple of explosion boxes before, but this is one with which am satisfied. I have based it on the IB colour challenge of blue n green. Gave my best shot to make it look professional but still i could improve. Here are a few pics...

The tags

I have taken green, blue n used white as the neutral colour. I have used lots of pearls, stones and sparkles for embellishments. And the blooms.... they have turned out quite pretty right, it is simple spiral flowers which is easy to make. Wanted to make a basket but since it is a small box it looked clumsy in the centre. I have kept the tags simple, else ther would be no space to jot down something.

A boy card

Hi everyone....

It's really nice to get to know so many people out there and also to showcase my ideas. This card was a sudden idea n it was created in no time, I thought of linking it to the boy/masculine theme @ BGC but the challenge has been closed. But still linking it for their next challenge for the use of buttons. So nothing more n here is the card.

I had this pattern paper from Itsy Bitsy and the idea of a boy card originated from this PP. The car and smoke are hand drawn n cut. Jus wanted to keep it simple n neat. Here is another view of the card.

This is the first time am using a stamped sentiment n i love it. I kept the inside of the card simple. Jus added a few punched out cars.

Thats it from me. Thanks for stopping by and do post ur comments.

A lil stitching!

I have tried stitching for the first time on cards. It gives a nice look n also satisfaction of creation. This card is based on another card i saw on a blog. Am still learning how to use blogs, so ill embed the link to that card sometime soon. N now here is the card...

The large pink flower is a hand cut felt flower n i have used running stitch in its corner. It looks a little better IRL due to the dimension. Am jus starting my collection of stamps, so this sentiment is hand written. Not the best, i agree. This lil cutie was created for my sis-in-law's daughter who is off to boarding in ooty. She is crazy about pink and so this card is for her.

Hope u liked it, thanks for stopping by and do tell me if u like it.

Lion King B'day Invite

Hi all,

Here is one of my recent creations to share....
My sister's son had a  Lion King themed b'day party and i designed the party invites. I went with the theme colours of green n yellow and made a simple pull-out invite. If i did have more time, i could have added few more embellishments.

The grass and the lion are hand cut. The lion have been a lil more smiling..... But all in all, am satisfied with the work. Its just the beginning and am learning a lot from everyone out there.

my first blog post

This is one of my favorites. i made this for my daughter's 1st bday. though it is not a recent one i thought id start off with something impressive. the 'dress' is made of layers of lace and embellished with half cut pearls.

We had a 'princess' themed party for her 1st bday. and i made lots of hand made items for it, so i guess some of my first few post will be based on it.

thanks for visiting my blog n do give ur comments
