Piano card

Hello again....

Hope u r all enjoying ur chrisrtmas holidays. Since am also on a break, thought ill catch up with my blog. So here are a couple of piano cards.

First is the one in traditional black & white colour combo

top panel open
I have done it like an easel card with drawer. Once u get the idea, execution was pretty easy, but cutting out the piano keys and sticking it with proper gaps required time & patience. But in all loved the outcome and was very satisfied. Do u see the music notes inside, it coordinates with the theme of the card. The flowers are again made using my itsy bitsy daisy die. The box contains an accordion card with photos, forgot to click photos here.

Now here is the same piano card but in red & white colour....

Gift Box

Guess there is no need to explain again, everything is the same except the colours. Here the drawer box holds a Perfume bottle.
Thanks for dropping by and for the lovely comments on the christmas explosion box.

PS. Had a great november month, came top 3 in BGC and Lulupu for 2 different projects and i was the winner @ PPS november challenge. This is my first in all 3, so really excited. Thanks everyone for ur lovely comments, suggestion & support.

Christmas Exploding Box

Hello all

This month has been very hectic.... wonder how soo many birthdays & occassions come in december. Anyway i got a lot to craft but was not able to share anything on my blog... will do it soon hopefully.
Today am sharing a Christmas box especially made for a lil girl, from her aunt and she wanted all the fantasy of Christmas incorporated in it. So here it is....

Handmade Poinsettia flower

The santa and merry christmas alone are printouts. The snowflake in the sentiment panel is a 3D one. Loved it, click on photo for more details. The santa suit shaped tag was a easy peasy one to do, this is the first time am doing a christmas themed project and i loved the variety of beautiful that one can incorporate. The 3D christmas tree also turned out quite beautiful and sticking pearls to it to indicate snow was Sunehra's idea orginally, i saw it in one of her recent posts. loved the effect.
Now the Poinsettia flowers, gorgeous right, loved it to bits. It's all due to distress ink, love how it turns a project to a thing of beauty.
Hope u liked my box, do give ur comments & suggestions friends.

And finally here is something special about the Lulupu blog hop, I thank Lulupu for the excellent line up of guest designers and their vast store which serves every crafters' needs. There is soo much inspiration there and hope u dont miss the awesome candy.....

Wish u all a very Bright & Merry Christmas.

CAS after long

hi friends

Today am posting a CAS card after ages. Since the time i started taking orders, i wasnt able to do a proper CAS one, because almost everyone s wish is to get a lavish and grand card with lots of colours & flowers. And an interactive element has become a must. So mostly u can see multi fold cards & boxes in my recent post.
But here is a Sweet simple card i loved

I have die cut the heart, used washi tapes in the back ground and heat embossed the sentiment in white sparkling powder. Some heart shaped stones, sequins & red velvet ribbon to bling it up. Made this for my sister in law and she loved it.

Hope you liked it. Thanks for stopping by,

Purse Explosion Card

Hey Crafters....

Thanks a lot for your generous comments on my double trishutter card.Today am posting another first for me, a handbag shaped explosion box. Hope u like it

Add caption

I have attached the handle with brads. Now the charm u see here is from my lil guy's play things, it is actually 2 different items put together to form a charm like thing. The metal circle is from a broken car & the chain is from a play clock. I loved this addition

Here is a better view. I have used velcro to close the Handbag's lid

Open View

Actually this was much more easy to do as i had only 4 panels to decorate. I have placed a small cake in the centre. Further both photo panels are pockets, it can be used to place tags or gift vochers. U can see one small tag peeping from behind the photo.

Quilled Roses on top of cake

Some masking with the sentiments, its actually a 2 liner

Do give your valid inputs. Hav a great day. bye

Double Trishutter Album

Hi gals....

This is my very first try @ double trishutter fold. Followed a lotta tutes on the net but the one by Mallika really helped. I have adjusted the measurements according to my needs. Those yellow roses are made using the swirly daisy die from itsy bitsy. My first flowers using a die, jus loved it

My first Quilled photo frame

Hey again...

Here is my first quilled photo frame, i hav been wanting to make one for long time and finally its here.

I was pretty much satisfied with the outcome, trying to figure out the design is the hardest part, i spent a long time jus staring at the photo frame trying to bring it all together. I jus loved how the big red flower came out. Took a hell of time making it dimensional. Followed Pritesh's Tutorial of using paper cone.

Hope u all liked it
Hav a good day

Pink Wedding Card

Hi there

Today am sharing a pink & gold Wedding card made on request. It is a multi fold card, this fold i came to know thru Ujjwal's pocket insert card. It measures 8*8 inches & wen opened measured 16*16 inches. Here are the pics,

i have decorated the front panel with many elements, first over the card base is this gorgeous embossed gift wrap sheet. Next i have painted the Heart shaped doily pink & placed the boy girl chipboard over it (heat embossed the chipboards in silver). Also the Sentiment "LOVE" is heat embossed in White Sparkling powder. Here is another view of the front panel. Few assorted mulberry flowers from Priya s store & from Ujjwal. 'You & Me' sticker is from DCWV La Cream sheet

When opened

Here is a pic of the inside, its a huge card, so i had to carefully do all panels coordinating well. The gold base here is a local buy card stock and has a nice shimmer to it

Panel 1

Here the sentiment is from a wall sticker which i had hoarded, Love how the heart with the wedding dresses have turned out, For the guy's dress, i have added corrugated sheet. Finished it with some sequins.

Panel 2

This panel here has a pocket to hold some photos, i was requested to add some chocolates, dats y dos candies here, and the related sentiment.

Panel 3

Panel 3 again is a pocket fold which has some tags, i have decorated the pocket with pleated satin ribbon, took a heck of time, but loved the result. All the tags are stamped with quotes. (forgot to take pics)

Panel 4

Kept this panel simple here, jus some doily, sentiment from PP and flowers. And this doily is recycled, know from where? Hotel.... It was placed in the saucer of my lil girl's milk. It was gorgeous with rose pattern and really thick. I ordered one more milk and got another doily, hehe. love it

Guess its already too much of pics & explaining. Thanks a lot for stopping by people. Hope the recipient loves the card as much as i do.

Happy Diwali Folks
